The Blues cannot come in to the game tonight expecting a win. They have to play a 60 minute game. A full 60 minute BLUES game. Then we should win. We better expect a push from Colorado. This time of year these teams can be a little more dangerous than they were in previous meetings.

Let's Go Blues!!!!

Well that was a loose, ugly period. Blues lucky to be down only 1 imho. Parayko with a lot of questionable if not bad reads tonight that have caused odd man or dangerous chances the other way.

Allen with some strong saves and play so far.

Let's hope the Stastny injury isn't serious. I'm not sure many of us want him coming out and Lehtera coming back in on Thursday.

The Stastny injury really did not look like much. Maybe they are just keeping him out as a precaution.

Schwartz needs to calm down when he's got the puck.

That smile on Petro's face after Schwartz scored was great. Finally got the monkey off his back. Maybe that will free him up and he can start scoring again.

Okay, their 2nd goal. Is that bad play Allen or fortunate bounce for Avs? He lost the puck then by the time he found it, it was too late. By the time he found it and the way he attempted to get by in position was poor.

At least that's my thoughts on the play.

Sanford had a good game. Barbashev getting rewarded with a goal.

Overall a decent bounce back after we were outplayed for more than half the game. ! shot 10 minutes into the 2nd almost?

Avs were ready. Glad the Blues bounced back.

Hope Nashville loses their next game.

Fortunate bounce.

He has a tendency of being too aggressive on some shots. Probably was a little on the first shot and the fortunate bounce on top of that caused the goal.

I'm ok with it when he is playing as well as he is.

What a nice road trip

Now come home for three big games

Vancouver is a trap game IMO

Calgary is a big game

Cant over look the canucks, this team is playing really well. Winning on nights they shouldn't.

Sanford has been great so far

Well I like what I am seeing.

Start off the game in a terrible fashion, Reffing sucks(Gabe kicks Perron in nuts), and they find a way to win.

Pretty sure Paajarvi got that goal, not Barbashev but the tv guys kept claiming it was Barbs. I didn't check the box score but look at MPS celebrating, Barbs congratulating him (not going over to sanford as the tv guys claimed), MPS' stick position, etc.

Yep, the tv angle that they kept showing couldn't see the deflection.

But you could tell by the way MPS celebrated that he deflected it.

I thought MPS actually got the goal. Didn't check any boxscores but it definitely changed directions, and even our announcers mentioned that. Just went with what they were saying as to who scored it as they never did show a decent angle that showed the front of the net. Oh well, the goal counted and that's all that truly counts

I'll take the fortunate bounce, (it was weird) but the positioning as a whole. The way he attempted to locate the puck after the initial shot. The whole turning around in the net approach kind of threw me. Without his play in the 1st we would have been out of the game early. Overall a good game by Allen.

Agreed.

To the point where I really think about protecting him this summer. He is one of the prime candidates for Vegas to take.

they gave the goal to MPS.

Now someone needs to apologize for the mean things they said about him....;-)
